Since 1999, my wife Jackie and I have lived on our farm in Rockwood, Ontario.  When I’m not at a dealership or working from home, I’m either behind the wheel of a tractor, working on one of many projects or hiking around the farm.  My interests include travel, sailing and motorcycling.  Currently I am riding a Yamaha Super Tenere or driving my 2007 Saturn Sky.

I have worked in the automotive business since 1975. Starting as a “dealer kid”, I worked on and off at the family store through to 1981.  After university, I went back to the dealership for several years and worked in various positions.  From 1992 to 2004 I worked for Reynolds and Reynolds in the Technical Assistance Centre and later as a Consultant with their Professional Services group. Combining a degree in Computer Science with this automotive experience provided me with the unique ability to work in-dealership and create programs to manage the dealership.
